As a Finn, I couldn’t be happier about the fact that travelers all around the world are discovering winter Finland and its arctic beauty. We started our booking 6 months in advance and we used a travel agency for communicating with the resort. However, we still recommend to book the activities beforehand if only possible, because during the high season the activities are very popular. However, we are always making improvements on our services, and currently we have a good wifi connection, all of our accommodations are well equipped, we have several restaurants offering also kids menus and we offer plenty of exciting activities for guests of all ages. Initially we wanted to stay in East Village to avoid the usual crowd in West Village during normal times, but figured West Village should be less crowded because of the pandemic in Europe.
You are warmly welcomed to visit us also for another time in the future. The hotel is an architectural masterpiece, blending modern design with the surrounding nature’s beauty. Also the deserts are essentialy the same for every special dinner while for the normal dinners they seem to change. They are not very different from the normal dinners. Lakes of crystal clear water and ample fish, forest full of berries, the wilderness and gorge valleys. One of the nicest log cabins I've ever seen, with an igloo attached, too! The aurora season lasts from late August until the end of April. The error was clearly with someone from the team but no refund was given. After the first communication, the later communications didn't improve much, a couple of days delay is typical here so you want to prepare accordingly. Winter came late to Lapland this year and when it finally arrived, it dumped more than twice the amount of snow. We are currently experiencing technical difficulties. Therefore, in order to ensure their availability it is recommended to make the bookings beforehand. The four-person igloos include their own toilet and shower.
