People keep talking about how the Hydra has Vtol, But the Lasers take off time is so short you can litterly be at safe flying speeds faster than the Hydra with Vtol. akula (especially if u have a friend on that dual minigun)

Depends on what you use it for. They both have the same weapons (explosive canons and rockets). I reccomend neither for now

Only costs a little more than getting a Lazer, and you end up owning a great transportation vehicle, and the best dogfighter in the game. HydraFacial vs. IPL photofacial. Best plane for ground striking, and you can use VTOL to hover directly above your enemy (he can't aim straight up). Everything else does what it can do better. The hydra is a bit slower and takes longer to gain speed.
A Lazer may be quicker if a ton of turns are involved with little time to just move forward, but in general use the Hydra is going to be quicker, by far. V-tol + the death cannons make some pve missions too easy I love it.
This will cause the Hydra Rocket Pods to fire at blimps only, and Laser Cannons to fire at their children. Neither, they are sadly outdated content from a begone age. Hail Hydra! Hydra is great for hangar/bunker/ceo/biker jobs. Hydra have more armor and it faster than Lazer, but Lazer have better acceleration.
